Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama is an ongoing program involving members of the Birmingham Area community, in partnership with the media and law enforcement, to provide crime-solving assistance to law enforcement.

Cash rewards are offered to anonymous persons who telephone the Crime Stoppers hot line at 205-254-7777 or SUBMIT AN ONLINE TIP with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for felony offenses.

Boatright CEO provides major donation to Crime Stoppers reward fund

BIRMINGHAM-AL - Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama received a major donation to finance additional cash rewards Tuesday morning.  Shane Boatright, president and CEO of Boatright Companies, provided a $10,000 check to Crime Stoppers Board of Directors Chairman Roy Sexton.  The money will go into the fund used to pay cash rewards to anonymous tipsters who help local law enforcement make arrests and solve felony crimes.
